Help Slow Down Global Warming/Climate
Crisis We need all
the support we can get!
Its
online virtual community CitizensForGlobalWarmingRandD@yahoogroups.com,
or simply CGWR&D, now with more than 3,100
members worldwide, many with doctorates, is the natural but more pragmatic
continuance of GlobalWarmingMillionsMarchToCongress@yahoogroups.com which
made its historic and highly successful march to the Washington, D.C. Mall
on September 11, 2008 (appropriately terminated, but check the Files in the
group for the prepared speech made for that memorable occasion). Its
objectives are (excerpted from its constitution): 1. The main purpose of
the organization shall be to provide a forum for communication and action
for all people on earth to help find solutions to Global Warming. 2.
CGWR&D shall also a. promote education about sustainable environment;
b. promote international cooperation, friendship, peace and respect for
human rights for all, irrespective of their gender, age, race, nationality,
religion, political opinion and sexual orientation or other status; c.
advocate for the advancement of alternative, environmentally friendly,
sources of energy; d. to encourage and enable every country to ratify the
Kyoto Protocol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol. e. Revive the
spirit that initiated Copenhagen (see Copenhagen Failure, the Reinforcement
and Inadvertent Marketing of a Vision http://sameby2016.com/copenhagen_failure.htm).
f. To promote research and development of controlled nuclear fusion. 3. The
ultimate purpose of CGWR&D shall be: to research, develop and implement
controlled nuclear fusion by 2016 for reactors to replace the coal and
other fossil fuel fired power plants, the major source of greenhouse gases
(predominantly carbon dioxide) causing the earth's Global Warming/Climate
Crisis.
We
shall accomplish our ultimate objective by building a Nuclear
Fusion Reactor While waiting for the required advanced
technologies (supercomputers with massively parallel computing capability
in the order of 3-5 petaflops, artificial
intelligence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial
intelligence), simulation
and modeling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulation)
software, virtual reality
(http://vrlab.epfl.ch/) equipment, fiber
optic digital gateways and channels and knowledge databases (the Library of
U.S. Congress, worldwide research laboratories) to mature after which a
great amount of expenditure is anticipated to develop and implement the
nuclear fusion reactors, we are
now doing our fundraising. And we are
also now hiring independent fundraising
consultants (click, print the
contract, fill it out, then mail the completed contract to us). For the
benefit of your family, friends and relatives and posterity, please help.
